The Huang laboratory uses integrated chemical approaches to bridge the glycome and
proteome to understand and control
stem cell fates and glycosylation
diseases. A key theme of our lab
is the study of glycans in the
context of the proteome.
We employ techniques
in synthetic organic chemistry,
analytical mass spectrometry,
and protein engineering to
illuminate glycan-protein
biology.

Fall 2025

We bid farewell to postdoc Meg and our interns, Rik Rijkers, Abigail Lehrer, Anastasia Krial-Victor, and Oceana Yu. We wish you all the best in your bright futures!

We welcome Julien Lee-Heberling as our newest graduate student member!

Check out our collaborative preprint with the Parker Lab describing how glycan post-translational modifications alter the interactions of small molecules with proteins!
